Production Services

At Congo Blue Design we aim to provide you with a very wide range of production resources from our in-house stock.  Generally our facilities are not available for 'dry hire', enabling us to keep equipment for shows we design and manage ourselves, with our own crew.  Where possible we will look after all aspects of the technical production, leaving you to concentrate on the creative content of the event.

Staging

The cornerstone to almost every event, our large stocks of staging systems allows us to create an infinite range of presentation platforms. Rectangles, squares, triangles and circles, even grille surfaces for that classic Marylyn Monroe effect! Add to these a mix of scissor lifts, revolves, conveyor belts and moving scenery pieces.

Set and Scenery

Translucent polycarbonate walls, through to suede covered set panels, real stone floors to real wet water features! Almost anything you can think of can be created in our scenic workshop. Pre-builds and rigorous testing at the warehouse allow us to arrive at site with a kit of parts that mean we never fall behind schedule.

Rigging

Keeping sensible stocks of our own lightweight and heavy-duty truss, coupled with chain hosts and a generous selection of ground supports means we can always get it up

3D Visualisation

Tired of hearing someone pitch to you asking you to use your imagination?  Congo Blue Design has invested heavily over the years in the award winning WYSIWYG software and hardware. This system enables us to create your stage and set  within a 3- dimensional world. 

You can view your set-up from any viewpoint in an accurate and to-scale simulation and can even see every element of the lighting design, rendered in near photographic quality. The final stage comes when we can use this computerised environment too fully pre-program the cues and sequences of your lighting before a single piece of equipment reaches your site. Lighting

From the latest in LED technology to the most basic lamps, our lighting designs cannot blame the lack of equipment for any weakness!

Audio

The best stage and set in the world won’t save you when the MD stands up to the lectern and can be heard by no one. The sound equipment held in stock by Congo Blue is second to none and crystal clear sound is a guarantee from our wide range of speakers, amplifiers, radio microphones and control equipment.

Special Effects

What better way of enhancing a presentation than adding that extra special something… wind generators, bubble machines, fine haze effects, smoke machines and even snow machines, all in stock.

Video

We offer Plasma screens, projectors and TV monitors, all controlled by the most sophisticated processing equipment. The visual impact created by high quality imagery is essential to many of our events. Show computers, DVD players, DV cameras and live digital media players can be used to ‘up the game’ of any performance.

Video Editing

 More recently our diversification led us to invest in full AVID Non-Linear video editing suite and with the skills in house to create unique and memorable media, the final piece falls into place.
