Remington Stand at the Clotheshow Live
NEC Birmingham, December 2006
Once again Congo Blue Design were commissioned by Stage 3 to design and build an exhibition stand for Remington for the 2006 Clotheshow Live.
The brief stressed the importance of product storage and specified a product demonstration area. As the product range split into items for ladies and men, this inspired us to divide the stand into two separate sections with a central counter area surmounted by a truss spire. On one side we provided a mens’ ‘chill out’ area with leather sofa, magazines and demo products, while on the other side was the women’s area promoting hair straighteners and such-like and a demo area for the constant stream of visitors looking for a free hair make-over!
Two lockable steel cupboards provided product storage and these were fitted with sideways-opening roller doors to preserve valuable floor space.
The end client was delighted with the stand and how the space worked, especially as their sales at the show exceeded all previous years – although we suspect that may have had more to do with the half-price promotion than Congo Blue’s ‘inspired’ design!
