December 2006 saw the launch of the all-new Eve Style Show, promoted by Eve Magazine. As this coincided with the Clotheshow Live, this meant a very busy time for the Congo Blue Design team.

CBD were asked by Barbara and Fran of ‘Production Team’ to work with them to design and build a simple, clean-lined catwalk.

We came up with a set with four entrances featuring polycarbonate pillars. The whole design including the stage floor was finished in white, enabling us to give one of the first outings for our new ‘city colours’, modified to be suspended upside down from the truss as cyc lights. These supplied an extremely saturated colour wash across the entire set.
The complete package provided by Congo Blue included site management (organising rigging points and electrical mains), lighting and sound, stage and set, including a backstage dressing room and furniture.
