Click image to view GalleryI’m pleased to say that our new video software performed amazingly on its first real outing! This season’s lingerie set was designed around two large rear projection screens. The idea was to match specific video files to each of the fashion show scenes, but incredibly the software did much much more.
We were able to manipulate each video file in time to the music via our lighting console and in one scene mapped images of the girls strutting the catwalk from a live video camera to each face of a rotating cube – all in real time! Very cool!
The software was also able to 'age' the camera images making them look like a film from the 50's.
One keen watcher commented that she though it was nice to see an old film being played, only to realise that it was live footage of the show happening in front of her!
Oh yes, we also built the stage, did the sound and lit the whole show, but who cares when you have such cool video!
