Click image to view GalleryAfter Last years success of the inaugural Royal Ascot Fashion Show, we were delighted to be asked back to provide the full Congo Blue package for this year's prestigious event!
A similar set design to last year was requested, utilising a large format print reflecting the Royal Ascot media campaign. This set wall was created in three giant panels, stretch fitted to give a seamless image.
The same back-drop was the projection surface for a 12,000 lumens projector, used to display the designers' logos for each scene. The high powered projector was a result of a 'shoot out' comparison to find the projector that would combat the high ambient light in the venue. Our client chose to go with this monster of a projector!
Always pushing for better design, we changed the speaker system this year to a distributed PA, utilising both our GAE and HK Audio boxes. We also located the subs at various locations under the catwalk to increase the quality of the coverage.
The lighting design used 36 of our Source Four Pars and was among the first outings for our brand new Jands dimmer system and the newest addition to our control fleet of another Avolites Pearl 2004.
A beautifully finished stage and a very successful event by everyone’s standards, here’s to next year!
