The Wedding of Jamelia and Darren Byfield

Congo Blue provided three separate sound systems to our friends at Complete Events for the wedding of singer Jamelia to footballer Darren Byfield.

Secrecy meant the project and its location were confirmed only days before the event, so it was a short turn around to specify the necessary systems. The actual ceremony took place in an open-sided marquee down by the lake at Eastlands. We provided coverage for a choir, keyboards, vocal mics - plus the minister and the happy couple - with no room for error here!

A second sound system was prvided for the dining room, with a six-box distributed PA system for the after dinner speeches and the music for the first dance.

Finally, we put in a dance system and technics turntables for the house DJ and guests to boogie into the early hours.

CBD provided all the equipment plus engineers for each of the three venues.
