Off the Rails Total Experience, Dublin RDS, November 2009
Click image to view Gallery Not quite Congo Blue International... but this was CBD's second trip to the fair city of Dublin, so we are justified at least in feeling very European!
The Doll Production Company, brought in Congo Blue to supply a large quantity of our new LED video wall for Ireland's Premier Consumer Fashion event - "Off the Rails". Not content with nearly 30m of Low Resolution LED video wall, CBD's technicians were required to make the video wall split into three separate panels in a motorised 'X factor' kind of way!
After pre-building the entire motorised tracking mechanism in CBD's Wokingham warehouse, all the kit was trucked over to Dublin. The rig comprised four independent Linear Actuators, creating two separate axis of movement. These performed to millimeter accuracy with 100% reliability.
The creative content of the show was conceptualised by Lee Lapthorne and the video wall content was produced by Colin at R2.
